Always upper class (UC)

Sometimes rated above the king

Sometimes rated with Nobles

Sometimes rated with Serfs

Sometimes Kings asked for advice of Clergy

When you rent an apartment, you pay rent to a Land Lord (Feudalistic)

King gave land grants to proprietors.

Maine used to govern like England at the start.

Army consisted of peasants in Revolutionary War in fight for individual freedom. After the war, nothing changed, still Feudalistic Governement.
